The North Dakota Head Start Association cordially invites persons or organizations to submit presentation proposals for the 2010 Region VIII Early Childhood Professional Institute. The conference theme, "The Adventure Continues" explorers innovate practices in the field of early childhood education and family development. Innovation brings attention to professionals' creativity and the importance of recognizing our capacity to think, act, and react based on best practices, effective strategies and relevant research that enhances the delivery of services and maximizes outcomes for children and families.

Conference attendees will include infant, toddler and preschool/pre-kindergarten classroom teachers, classroom assistants/para-professionals, home visitors, education supervisors, family service workers/social workers, health coordinators/nurses, and administrators, support staff (food service, transportation and administrative support) parent leaders, child care providers, special education cooperatives, state agencies and collaborative partners with interest in early childhood professional development.
